To build a "world class" aquatic center in southern Connecticut that would be the focal point for water safety instruction, certification, training and competition for the entire New England area.  A facility that could cater to the newborn swim classes to the elderly water walking class, from the lifeguard certification to training first responders such as police and fire fighters, and from the Special Olympian to the international competition.  This is not a "pool" but a center for every one of all ages, to build a healthier lifestyle, and attract competition from around the world.

To provide people of all ages an opportunity to participate in aquatic exercise and competition to develop their skill level, level of physical fitness, and social and emotional development.
